Sand Lake Tree LLC and the company owner does some innovative work, new methods and the equipment used is optimally used and even sometimes newly engineered and built in house. If you are looking for a job where you just sit in a truck or piece of equipment all day, doing the same thing day in and day out, this might not be the job for you. Under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, employers must receive a verified negative pre-employment drug test result before a commercial driver operates a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) requiring a CDL. A pre-employment alcohol test is optional for employers, but a negative drug screen is strictly mandatory for new hires, transfers into safety-sensitive roles, and drivers out of the random testing pool for over 30 days.
Must currently have and maintain a valid driver’s. While not required, it is beneficial, a commercial driver’s license (dependent upon Division and utility/contract requirements) and DOT medical card in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
Sand Lake Tree LLC requires a pre-employment drug test for all employees and all employees will be in the our DOT random testing pool.
Ability to Perform Essential Functions of the Job (All Production Positions): All production positions are physically
demanding. Entry-level employees in these positions are expected, within a reasonable time after they commence
employment, to be able to do tree work. This work includes possibly: removing tree limbs using various hand
and power tools on a continuous basis during an eight to ten hour shift; removing and disposing of tree limbs using
various mechanized tools, which can require bending, lifting, and carrying from 50 to 100-pound loads, ability to safely determine and maintain minimum separation from live overhead power lines. Entry-level employees may also be required to obtain state licenses to apply pesticides and engage in duties that require exposure to various chemicals and pesticides.
Starting salary is $20, depending on experience. No experience is required, but it is preferred. Wages are just a current starting point.
